Well, we are now on Day 7 with no power at our primary residence. We managed to make it in our powerless house for three days. We were at our breaking point due to heat, boredom, and convenience store food. There were tree limbs, huge puddles, mosquitos, and snakes in our yard so outside living was a bust. As a matter of fact, we were about to pack up and drive to Canada for an impromptu vacation to see my family. We had pretty much decided to go when Shawn's brother called to announce he had power and we were welcome to stay with them in Katy. YIPPPEEE! Well, it has been five days and I MISS MY LITTLE HOME! We are having fun, but you know how it is...
Thanks to everyone who has helped us this week- you guys are angels! Also, a big thanks to all the energy guys who are here trying to restore power to us all. It is a big job and you have my sincerest thanks, but please hurry!!
