Wedding of the Year

Our trip to Canada was super fun. We got to see some never before visited parts of the zoo and spend quality time with the family, but the main reason we went was the casinos! No, I am kidding. The main focus of our trip was the WEDDING!
As you may know, my sister Dawna has been involved with a lovely man named Derek for about five years. During our OUTRAGEOUSLY AWESOME trip to Vegas this past summer, he proposed and the wedding juggernaut lurched and heaved into motion. Finally, a date was set, invitations ordered (and made extra faboo by me with a suggestion for personalized stamps!), and dresses were procured.
Dawna wanted her four nephews, ages 7, 4, 3, and 2 in the wedding party; along with her daughter and son as maid of honor and best man. Tuxedos on small children is a wonderful thing to behold. The groom looked handsome, but the show was stolen by the beaming, beautiful, buxom bride. I was in love with Dawna's dress. It really was very simple, but just so right for her with a few accents of sparkly and laciness.
I loved Dawna and Derek's wedding because it seemed so much about love and fun. What a perfect way to start a new life together. The wedding was emotionally charged and the party afterwards was a blast. All in all a good time. The reception boasted lots of liquor, dancing, and karaoke; but the best part was the photo booth. If you are planning any kind of event in the near future, GET A PHOTO BOOTH! Most. Fun. Ever.
Pictures of the event are on their way. I will post them as soon a my favorite newlywed sends them to me.
