Hello from Canada!

We have all been in Canada for a week now and it has been a whirlwind of excitement leading up to my sister's wedding. There has been so much to do, organize and finalize. Luckily, everyone has made a huge effort to make sure my family gets out and about to see and do cool "vacation" stuff. We went to an outstanding museum called the Telus World of Science. It is like a children's museum magnified by 20! I was blown away by the things to do, see and touch there. Foster's favorite things were the Hall of Music where he could be very noisy and the water tables where he could be very messy. Connor really enjoyed climbing in the maze and building with the blocks in the construction zone. We amped up the adventure aspect of the day by riding the train all the way into the city- a first for my kids. We've been to parks and frolicked in the snow. The older boys got to go see "Horton Hears a Who" with the obligatory popcorn, soda, and candy! We also got to experience the first rate Calgary Zoo. This place is amazing and we explored The Canadian Wilds and Prehistoric Park. We even got a few close up looks at the three hippos they have there. Awesome! We've been to visit family and are just generally enjoying ourselves!

My sister's wedding is tomorrow and there is a flurry of activity planned for the next 36 hours. As always, there is so much to do before the bride glides down the aisle looking beautiful and serene as though she has no care in the world. I will be sure and update you on how the wedding went. At this rate, we are hoping the weather cooperates -there are forecasts of snow flurries- which sound cute, but are NOT when you are planning a wedding!
